Course introduction (parts 1 to 4)

 Entry Requirements:

1. Students must be 12th grade or above, or 18 years old and above.

2. Language proficiency requirements: learners must provide a grade 12 English score of C or above, or an IELTS score of 6 or more, or a certificate or transcript that proves the equivalent level of language proficiency.

Students who have completed the course should have the knowledge and ability to teach English as a foreign language (ESL), and various teaching methods can be used to help students of different ages to improve their language proficiency and achieve the purpose of language learning.

 

This project allows learners to complete preparations in various aspects such as knowledge, skills and psychology, and accumulate experience through teaching internships, and eventually obtain the official qualifications of English and foreign language teachers recognized by Canada.

 

Total course duration:

Classroom teaching-100 hours (4-18 weeks)

Internship-20 hours (1-2 weeks)

Part 1

The courses at this level focus on the basic knowledge of classroom teaching and explain the various teaching methods that have been used in the education sector over the years. In the course, students will learn the eight principles of teaching, participatory learning, the scope of teaching for different ages, the level of language proficiency, and the concept of cross-cultural and socio-political background lights. Through learning teaching methods and various teaching methods, the course will lay a good foundation for learners to become a teacher.

Course duration: 20 hours (1-4 weeks)

Part 2

This course focuses on explaining the necessary abilities of actual classroom teaching, such as course design, lesson preparation, practical teaching skills, selection of teaching materials, etc. At the same time, it also includes various practical methods and classroom management skills used in language teaching to create an interactive teaching environment in the classroom.

Course duration: 20 hours (1-4 weeks)

Part 3

This course focuses on learning basic classroom management and various methods to improve classroom teaching efficiency. At the same time, it will also teach practical applications of various classroom language teaching, including grammar, reading, oral and listening courses, etc., so that learners can do Other English learners conduct the most basic language teaching.

Course duration: 40 hours (2-7 weeks)

Part 4

This course focuses on the basic design methods of language assessment tests, and also introduces various assessment methods used in the classroom. In addition, it also includes content such as the improvement of teaching literacy and professional knowledge.
