Reading is a long-term training, not a short-term effort.
Reading is incremental accumulation, not instantaneous memory.
Reading is knowledge extraction, not linguistic patchwork.
English Reading
Reading Analysis
Teachers will consciously investigate the cultural background during the reading process. Only by understanding the regional characteristics and cultural awareness of the works can they understand the readings.
Probing Questions
Ask probing questions; let students read with a specific context, role, and goal in mind, and assess if the ideas and themes are correct or incorrect while reading.
Reading Environment
Create an English only reading environment, and gradually increase the amount of extra-curricular reading, so that students may overcome reading challenges and improve reading skills.
